Welcome to Kjølen Hotell

Kjølen Hotell is a friendly, rustic, cozy hotel on Østby, just 15 minutes from Trysil and the slopes of the Trysil mountain. The hotel is situated between serveral ski resorts.

Near Trysil is Norway's largest ski resort: Trysilfjellet. Nearby is Fulufjellet, a child-friendly ski paradise located between Østby and the Swedish border. Just over the border in Sweden can be found the largest ski resort of Sweden: Sälen.

There are also miles of cross-country trails right outside the hotel!

This makes our hotel a perfect ski vacation destination, here you can take full use of all the possibilities! From mid-November there is a snowguarantee on the Trysil mountain, so you just have to put your skis on!

In the summer the hotel is a place for sport activities or just peace and quiet. The hotel is a good starting point for most activities, such as moose safari, horse riding, fishing and swimming. Close to the hotel is a beautiful swimming lake.
